See the Light was the first CD I ever bought way back in 1988! Jeff was part of my musical coming of age! I'm glad he was able to inspire so many people in such a tragically short life. What a great guy! An inspiration to us all

Hell To Pay tour, finished up with a blistering version of Hendrix's Voodoo Chile in the encore. Just watching "See the Light" and "Hideaway" on YouTube brought it flooding back. Talk about floored, we were all speechless all the way home. The single best performance I ever had the honour to witness. Thank you, Jeff.

Jeff Healey will be remembered as one of a kind in the music industry. What a special individual. His faith kept him far above the rest of the best. May he play and sing with the angels now.

I first saw The Jeff Healy Band in a little pub in Wasaga Beach, Ontario back in the 80's. We had just come in to get some refreshments from being on the beach all day and the bartender told us to get ready to see a spectacular guitarist. He was absoultely right and from that night on I was a huge fan of Jeff's. The one song that has helped me over and over again through out my life was "Let it all go" and not only his guitar finese but the lyrics to his music have brought so much pleasure not only to myself but many throughout the years. Rest in Peace Jeff and thank you for sharing your music.

Only the other day, I was introducing someone to the music of Jeff Healey, and taking great delight in explaining, as I played Jeff's extended version of 'All Along The Watchtower' that the player was a blind white Canadian! Jeff's talent, and what he did with his life, is a source of inspiration.

From the first notes I heard, I loved his music. Then you come to realize that he is blind and you see him play the guitar on his knees. That made it all even more interesting. A fine musician less. He could have given us so much more, if he'd only had a chance. Jeff, take care!

I opened up an e.mail from Amazon tonight which was recommending Jeff`s new album titled MESS OF BLUES & was totally shocked to hear the sad news about Jeff, I have been a fan for many years now & always found it bewildering how a blind man could make the guitar sound so good by simply playing it on his lap, he is truly a guitar great & his memory will live on for many years to come in his music, god bless you Jeff, you will definately be missed, be happy in heaven, I salute you

I was shocked by the death of this affable singer, songwriter and actor. Nothing was published in our paper. I came across Jeff's death by accident. My sympathies go out to those that loved and cherished him.

HI , My name is Brad from Auckland, New Zealand. When I was first turned on to Jeff's music back in the mid 80's, I was blown away by the raw power and emotion of his playing - and I soon grouped him in with my guitar favourites of all time, ie: Hendrix, Santana, Clapton, SRV. I was lucky enough to see Jeff and the band in concert, here in Auckland in the early 90's - and his unstoppable spirit shone through then when he was heckled by some idiot in the audience. Jeff ended up telling the guy to "Shut the F*** Up" - and the whole audience cheered. I'll never forget it. My deepest sympathies to Jeff's family. The world has lost a great guitarist, and a great man.

I saw you on Roadhouse and, at first, thought you were an actor; as, I did not know your name and reputation; however, you are the focal point of my memories of that movie. your voice is more than entrancing -- it is bewitching, soulful and so very smooth!!! I can just close my eyes when I listen to your music and transcend myself to any happy place I want to be -- you are a truly missed American legend and icon!!!!! I know you are sincerely appreciated in Heaven -- I just hope my beloved grandmother is listening to you. Lots of warm regards to your family, Jeff.

In the fall of '89, I was in college and began dating a new beau, of whom my heart was leary...that was until he showed up at my home for a date one night with "Angel Eyes" playing in his stereo just for me. He sang along with you, Jeff, and was so sincere, that I was swept away. Nearly twenty years later, I'm not with that guy, but I happened across "Roadhouse" on t.v. today and saw you singing that song. I've been thinking about you ever since. You had a profound impact on millions of listeners for so many artistical reasons. I can only imagine how your family misses you. I know that the heavens rejoice everytime you decide to sing. God bless you.

My nephew was learning to play the guitar ,I asked him had he done the history of playing. He said to me,he was learning the classics. Sooo I said, lets hear something. He began to play me every (standard). I said thats it ! He says to me, thats about all the really good songs i know. And I'm getting kind of board with it .The first picture that popped into my head was Jeff Healy. I played him Angel Eyes. This brought back one of the best memories of my life,The first time i ever danced with a girl i was crazy in love with. He was hungry for more . He kept my CDs for months. He loved that style of playing. I got a call one day from him .......he says John Lennons version of (Still my Guitar gently weeps) really sucks compared to Jeff Healy's version. Yea you can say that. But whats gonna blow your mind is that Jeff is blind. He did not believe me. soon later he found out Jeff had passed away , he says to me He was so young .HIs playing has gotton so much better,He listens to his chords closer and feels the music .It inspires me to know that Jeff Healy influences a young man to feel the music and to not just memorize it and I am thankful for that great overflowing feeling of Love that i felt on that school dance that night. ............ I'll always remember those angel eyes that looked my way.

I must have been 13 or 14 when i heard angel eyes for the first time. I had never been like the kids in the house or the ones I went to school with as far as my grammar and my love for music and a good book (at the same time). I was in my bed watching a movie by my favorite actor, and the musician was a blind guitarist whose voice I could not get out of my head for weeks after first watching Roadhouse. While I first watch roadhouse for Patrick Swayze, listened to it for that indescribeable sound that made me feel like home. No matter where I was. About 3 months later I was laying in bed reading a book and listening to the radio, and Angel Eyes came on and instantly I perked up because that feeling always get when I listen to your music on the VCR was there. I had to know it was you, because no one else could give me that feeling of peace and right that your voice gave to me. At 21 when I left my little island in the caribbean and moved to the US mainland, your music was all that kept me sane. I am heart broken to know that you are no longer with us, for I will miss you. It is 18 yrs later and Angel Eyes still has the same effect on me. You are loved and missed.
