I'll never understand why God takes people like Jeff too soon, other than he needed another Angel. Very few people have touched me the way Jeff did. A true prodigy. He's sorely missed. SWT/ G'ville , FL

My first introduction to Jeff was in the 80's with Roadhouse. I still have the album with Angel Eyes...I'll never depart with it. He was a true musician, a brother musician. He is missed and I pray for him, Christie and his kids. May he rest in peace. Rest my brother, I'll see you again... Wayne

My memory of Jeff was meeting him at his concert in Perth Scotland with my husband. You signed a copy of a dvd we bought of you concert at Montreaux. We saw you every time you came to Scotland and every time was better. The last time we saw you was at The Academy in Glasgow. The music world has lost a great artist. Rest in Peace. One stand out moment - Jeff played on a tribute to Ronnie Hawkins (60th birthday celebration). He was sharing the stage with Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis... suddenly there came this blistering lead break that was extended because it was so magical... Jeff Healey. There were many moments for many of us, but that particular gem is worth looking up.

My Memories of the Great Man were his energetic style of guitar playing even though he was blind and when i first heard see the light when it first came out I could relate to the songs and cheered me up at a time when I was feeling very lonely and I followed him up to the feel this album and then really lost touch until this yaer when i was looking through some cd's and came accross see the light and played it still sound ewxcellent today and I can't believe he passed away at such a youg age he was definitely one of my favourite guitarists along with Clapton & Gilmour to mention a few but I still listen to him rest in peace mate!

i'm from the land of down under, new zealand, i was a great fan of yours jeff, roadhouse is most probably my best movie to date, you were blind bro, but i think its all in the mind, your mind ruled your fingers when you played, and your fingers ruled that guitar, many great songs were born when you picked up that gat and played it, i loved it, we loved, the whole world couldnt get enough of your wisdom, you died to young, you were taken b4 your time, mayb there was a reason for it, we may neva know, but lord knows where you are now, or would have been if you had lived just afew more years, so with that i bless you the king of guitars, the master of the blind man, the missing blind guitarist who changed our thoughts for the better, miss you heaps Jeff, from: Fredericko' Ewart, Napier, New Zealand, The South Pacific, The World. e-mail: frederickharold@live.com if u wanna chat with me,

My husband of 38 years joined you Jeff on April 17, 2008 at the young age of 55. He and I loved your movie with Patrick Swayze "Roadhouse". We watched it over and over. You are so missed, but Neal and Patrick join you now, and I can imagine what a wonderful time your having with our Lord Jesus Christ. See you all soon!

THIS MAN WAS IN MY OPINION ONE OF THE GREATEST GUITAR PLAYERS WHO EVER LIVED,IF YOU WATCH CAREFULLY HE IS AS ONE WITH HIS GUITAR IT IS AN EXTENTION OF THE MAN. THE LOSS IS INCREDIBLE NOBODY WILL EVER REPLACE HIM, FOR STYLE INNOVATION AND JUST GREAT HEART. IT WAS A VERY SAD DAY WHEN HE PASSED AWAY BUT HIS GOOD WIFE AND CHILDREN HAVE SOMETHING TO BE PROUD OF--- AS LONG AS PEOPLE MARVEL AT GREAT MUSICIANS HE WILL LIVE ON.----- GOD BLESS

At the age of 15 I fell in love for the first time. Angel Eyes was our song. Because to me that was the perfect description of her. My buddies mom in high school said she loved the blues. I came in with see the light and hell to pay. She was a fan ever since. She passed 5 yrs ago of cancer. In college (1992) I had the "See the Light tape playing... Angel Eyes again.... a friend burst into my room (just got dumped by his girl) with this pale look he said "I can't believe you have this song... I've been looking for it for years." We then discussed my friends problems and my past. I promised him that I would dance with my wife (hypothetical) to the song at my wedding. 10 yrs later I did. The marriage didn't last... but the song did. About six months ago I ran into that first love... as soon as I looked in her eyes... I heard the intro as clear as bell in my head. Jeff was an amazing musician and songwriter. To the family, I send my deepest condolences. He will be deeply missed.

I remember being a teenager in the 80's late at night and seeing this guy on MTV for the first time...I remember at first thinking "why is he sitting down"???....Then the blast of one the the most powerful guitar openings ive ever heard from the song See the Light started up...I went out the next day and bought the cd...Then bought another when it wore out...Then another...I only learned today of his passing (Friday 7th November) and my deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends...He was a rare talent and will be truly missed. Regards Zaphodity

To the Jeff Healy Family. Sorry for your loss. He was and continues to be an inspiration to all of us who love music. He reminds me so much of my brother who also passed away at an early age of 34 . May you have peace in knowing that you too will once see them again.

I first saw Jeff in a now closed down bar in Calgary that was known for it's blues. I thought this guy was assome, but why was he playing his gitar that way. Well it was a slide gitar and he was blind. Resently watched road house again and thought what ever happened to him and now found out this most talented slide gitarest is gone. The most talentented people you care about are taken from you far to soon, and then others just brand you forever. Your songs will live with me forever Jeff.

WHEN I FIRST STARTED DATING MY HUSBAND WE LISTENED TO THE JEFF HEALEY BAND ALL THE TIME. WE WERE AT THE BEACH LISTENING TO THAT PERFECT SONG WHEN MY HUSBAND ( boyfriend at the time...lol) THAT PERFECT SONG WAS THE AMAZING " ANGEL EYE'S". MY HUSBAND WAS KILLED WHEN OUR DAUGHTER WAS 3yrs OLD BY A HEAD-ON COLLISION BY A DRUNK DRIVER. THIS ACCIDENT CLAIMED 5 MORE LIVES, 4 IN MY HUSBANDS CAR AND THE DRUNK DRIVER; SO I'LL LIVE OUT THE REST OF MY DAY'S JUST WAITING TO HEAR THAT SONG THAT ALWAY'S BRINGS BACK A SPECIAL TIME IN MY LIFE. IN MY OPINION (and everyone has one) THERE WILL NEVER BE ANYONE EVER AGAIN COME CLOSE THE THE MOST AWESOME MAN OF MUSIC....THE ALL TIME GREAT "JEFF HEALEY" MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND RAISE THE ROOF-TOP OF HEAVEN WITH YOUR MUSIC AS YOUR GUITAR GENTLEY WEEPS....MY SYMPATHEY'S GO OUT TO HIS WIFE AND CHILDREN; THEY HAD A HUSBAND AND A FATHER THAT THE WORLD LOVED! -;--;---;{@ REST IN PEACE @};---;--;- JEFF HEALEY
