I never met Tony Snow in person, but enjoyed listening to the Tony Snow Show on Sirius Satilite Radio. You could just feel his spirit come across the air waves, he was genuine and passionate; and he had wisdom, and a way of sharing and including without making anyone feel left out. Listening just made your heart glow. May we all try harder to be the men WE are all called to be, as we remember Tony Snow. He loved God first and foremost, making him the man He created him to be, he loved his family and his nation. Let us all honor Tony by how we live our lives making this world a better place. This world needs more men of faith, like Tony Snow, to make a difference. To the Snow family.... Dear Daddy (Lord)- I thank you that you took Tony home, he is healed and in Your presence now. I would ask that you would dispatch your ministering angels to Tony's family. May you extend Your grace and comfort to Jill, his wife, and their children. Though we feel their loss, we also know that we will see him again through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. So we are encouraged and comforted. Bless the Snow family with all that You are and strengthen them. Lord give them more of You today, or this hour as they need more of You than they did yesterday. Be Blessed and Know that you are loved....Amen! Bret Boggs msetfre@yahoo.com

What an awesome human being Tony Snow was here on earth. So proud to have known this man even if it was on the many news clips that came via my television set. A man of great character and integrity and a man of such great love that showed right through in the way he conducted himself in front of the public to see. May God continue to Bless you as you have entered eternal rest Tony and know that He will continue to care for your family here on earth. We love you and will miss you dearly.... you Tony.... are in our hearts forever!

Tony Snow was one of those 'bigger-than-life' people. I loved his radio show which had just come to El Paso where I live in 2006. I was so excited. Two weeks later Tony took the job at the White House. I was excited for him for that opportunity but I missed him on the radio. Whenever I heard him come on on the TV for a press briefing or if somebody interviewed him, I would drop everything and listen to him. He was such an inspiration to me. What a well-rounded guy: the kind heart, the genuine cheerfulness, the honesty, the faith, the love for family, the incredibly amazing overcoming spirit, the wit, the humor, the sharp mind, the intelligence... There are very few people you observe who are such a model and inspiration. I want to be like you,Tony, when I 'grow up'....When I heard the news yesterday morning, I couldn't believe it, in fact, I am still in shock. I needed some time alone to process it. I honestly thought Tony would beat the cancer and I had no clue he was getting bad. The last time I heard him was when he filled in for Bill O'Reilly's radio programm talking about how humbled he was by all the people praying for him. What an amazing man. Thank Jesus, we get to spend time with Him in eternity. I am sure looking forward to that! I pray for the family. What a loss. May God's presence comfort you!

Tony Snow was one of a kind. His generous smile and intelligent humor was a gift and we were all fortunate to witness it everytime we saw him on TV. His love of God, family and country will certainly gain him instant entrance into heaven. God Bless you, Tony. C

Tony was highly intelligent, loved his jobs and had that wonderful smile with a twinkle in his eyes. He was articulate and accurate. His detractors (unfortunately for them) underestimated him because of his charm. He had a peaceful smile that said he was at peace with himself-even in his last days. My sympathies and prayers to his family and legion of friends, but especially to his wife and children. Remember the good times. Deb Cleveland, TN

I am a 69-year-old retired school teacher grieving today for Tony Snow's passing as deeply as I am for my mother's who passed this April 2nd. I never met Tony but his thoughts and words when I heard them for the first time became a part of my thinking and information cache'. My deepest sympathy to his family. He was part of my thinking family. His contributions to our world will continue to help us even as we cry at his death. He is with God now.

It is nearly impossible to put into words the effect Tony Snow had on people. To me, he was the good in all of us. Loyal to his president and his party, intelligent, witty, talented, funny, reverant, cherishing family above all, always smiling even in the middle of heated debate. He never raised his voice. He never had to. He had friends in all walks of life and on both sides of the political spectrum. They have all written about the loss and it is a profound loss. I feel as though I have lost a friend. We shoudl all strive to be like Tony Snow. He was one in a million. God speed, Tony. Your earthly life is over, but your last breath here was your first in paradise.

Thank you Tony for the man you are and were, while you were here with us in the physical realm. I am sure you are now home with HIM who IS. You became like a dear friend to me, back in 1996 when Fox News Sunday, first aired. There was a freshness and optimism within you, void of negativity, which gave me such great hope in life. Back then, I was raising my small daughter alone after her mother left our marriage when she was 11 months old. Sundays were hard for me/us, even though we had our faith and love of God, it was so hard and saddening, but please know Tony that your smile, kind hearted and friendly manner, touched me deep within and helped re-awaken the dreams and love of life I once held, deep within. Thank you dearest Holy Spirit for speaking to me through Tony, so, so many times during those dark days, now so long ago. God Bless you now and all of your dear children and wife. ~Tony Snow, a REAL MAN indeed and a beautiful soul,...he was and is a man a person doesn't meet everyday. You and Tim Russert were cut from the same cloth! Shaun Rogers

Tony Snow was a good man. The world will be a little emptier without his wit, his wisdom, his smile, and his constantly upbeat attitude toward life, journalism, and politics. In a world so full of ignorance and stupidity and pettiness, he was a light of decency. Saturday morning at 2:00 a.m. that candle was extinguished. A "friend and family member" has passed on.

So many Saturday nights falling asleep with the television on, his was a welcome and informative face to wake up to. A positive fixture in our homes. He really was "Our Tony Snow." His strength, unforgettable. His style, impeccable. His heart, no words can describe yet many have felt. To Jill, Robbie, Kendall and Christie, my heart goes out to you all. I lost my mother to lung cancer June 14, 2007 and as I have recently learned, life will not ever be the same. A true treasure that you can turn to are the memories and just knowing what your husband and father would want you to do at this challenging time in your lives. Let us be strong together.

I have enjoyed hearing and reading words from people who knew Tony better than I did. My overwhelming feeling is that of gratitude for his being with all of us, during the prime of his life. I struggle with chronic illness, but feel a new strength from absorbing information about him, and I've just read his amazing 2007 Catholic U. commencement address. He was truly an amazing and enjoyable person, and, as Bill O'Reilly stated this morning, "Tony's children will do well in life": from the values inherited from both their parents. He will truly be missed ! Peace and love to his family.

I was late discovering Tony, as until recently I've been complacent about politics - But a friend directed me to the transcript of his Commencement Address to Catholic University of America, last May, and I feel I've found a true friend. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and may Perpetual Light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen. May God also grant peace and consolation to his family and friends. You are all in my prayers -

My first encounter with Tony Snow was of hearing him as guest commentator on the Rush Limbaugh show. I personally resonated with his conservatism and quickly developed a sense of deep respect for this Great man. His excellence as press secretary only further confirmed what I already knew of Mr. Snow. That his persona and Faith are of the highest caliber. We will miss you Tony Snow.

We are going to miss Tony Snow , We enjoyed listening to him and reading his columns. I admired his pro-life views. We were able to trust his political views. This is not easy to come by these days with the loss of "Tim and Tony", whom should I trust with the media? We were able to trust their sincerity You could see their love of life in their views. My heart goes out to Tony's family. May God comfort and bless them.

God bless Tonys family. Nothing that anyone can say will comfort anyone in his inner circle right now. The only thought is that he knew who his savior was. For those of us who know the truth, meaning no disrespect to others. The moment he closed his eyes he was with Jesus. Such an awesome place that we have no words to describe. He leaves a legacy that will be felt for generations. He lived a great life with class, and he is in a place that man cannot describe the beauty, not bad Tony!! We will miss you

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Tony Snow. My sister fought colon cancer bravely for 2 1/2 years and lost her battle 1/13/06 2 months after i lost my husband 11/14/05 to his 3 week battle after being diagnosed with cancer of the esophagus. i know the pain you are going thru and will still go thru. Just remember he's with God and doesnt hurt or feel sick anymore. We feel sorry for ourselves because that person we love isnt with us when we should be rejoicing that he/she is with God. Try to remember if you lead a good life you'll be reunited in heaven.

I first heard of Tony Snow on the radio. I would listen to him for my lunch hour every day. I was excited for him when he took the Press Secretary position, but very sad also to lose my lunch hour listening. His smart and very positive outlook is what I loved about him, and we need so much for of this today. Not to mention his family values. I am truly sad and will miss him. God bless Tony, his Wife and children.

I was blessed to have known Tony. It was amazing how he personally assisted a friend of mine as her husband faced the same colon cancer that took Tony from this life. Tony took time from his busy life to reach out to my friend. Tony was a genuinely kind, considerate child of God. He shared his wit, wisdom and caring equally with all--whether it was a powerful world leader or an admiring fan in flyover country. Tony's life is a model for all in how we ought to treat others. I pray for his family to find peace, strength and comfort in the public outpouring that shows how loved Tony is.

Every religious tradition has a name for it. A person who prompts a smile with the mere mention of his name. A christian says, he is"born again" or reborn of the Holy Spirit. A buddist says he is a boddisatva. A Jew may say that he is of "Ruach Yaweh" or of God's Wind. A Hindi simply refers to this person as "Mahatma" or great soul. It is very rare, hard to describe, but its manifestation within a person is most obvious. Tony is all of the above. HIs body is gone. His spirit lives within us. Today I cry and smile at the same time. We love you and your beautiful family.

I have missed him on Fox News Sunday, since he left, and was elated to see him take over as White House press secretary. I was sorry to see him leave there because of his loving whit and ability to keep the news people in line. He kept everyone up because he was always up, even in his situation. It is with great sadness that I view his passing and keep him and the family in my prayers.

I remember Tony Snow, when he filled in for Rush Limbaugh, on the radio. And I knew this guy was going places. He was smart, and had an answer for any debate, whether he was right or wrong. This guy went on to work for the Whitehouse, and took digs at reporters and had fun at his job. But he had courage, and fought his biggest opponent "Cancer." I knew this day was coming, and I saw that he did too! But I never saw on TV, a man who lived each day to the fullest, as though it was his last. A man who smiled and loved life, and the people, who surrounded him, and the people who listened! We will miss you!
