saw jeff healey band at newport wales uk few years ago great great gig, jeff you will be missed .our condolances to your family .uk loved you .rip ..by pete neath, wales

I first heard Jeff Healey in the mid 1980's. From the first time I heard him sing & play the guitar, I was a fan! I love the song "Angel Eyes", and also the blue'ze sound of his voice. I also love listening to him sing George Harrrison's "While My Guitar Gently Weeps". My heart goes out to his family during the tragic time. Another great is gone-but never to be forgotten!

When I was a senior in high school I fell in love with Jeff and his band. One of my most favorite songs of all time is "Angel Eyes." My boyfriend at the time said that was how he felt about me. That was one of "our" songs. I did not know until this week that Jeff had passed. I had been in the hospital and did not know about it. I called my sister and of course she knew, but had forgot to tell me about it. It was a big blow. I will miss him but will always listen to him. Thanks for everything, Jeff.

Hearing , See the light for the first time on late night BBC radio . i was enthralled and thrilled by the sound that came out the speaker , Im stunned at the news of Jeff,s passing , and here in liverpool uk i just wish to pass on my sincere condolences to both his family and friends . Lakey

I remember Jeff Healey playing at the Port Hope Band Shell and stopping to give my little girl his autograph. She did not know he was blind but he laughed when (at only 5 or 6 yrs old) she blurted out that she could write better than that! Thank you for being so kind and true. Your music lives on.

So sad to hear the news..what an amazing guitarist, rest in peace...
thank you for the music

There's always someone in the world of guitar players who knocks you onto your heels when you see them play for the first time, Jeff did this for me, can you imagine the hours of dedication he put into learning the guitar in that way? God bless you Jeff & lucky old heaven with you to listen to XX

Rest in peace Jeff. Such a talent - now gone, but you've left us a tremendous legacy in your music. Thankyou.
I never had the priviledge of seeing him live - was hoping to see him in the UK this year. Gone but not forgotten.

I got to know Jeff a little bit through a mutual friend and he was a genuinely sweet and funny guy, always ready to laugh. These memories are just as vivid as watching him perform. He was a musical phenom but a down to earth guy, a truly unique individual. Rest in peace my brother's brother.

Jeff was a wonderful man and a wonderful musician. My most touching memory of him is, as "Bow wow wow" put it "his itty bitty little piggy eyes".
Rock on Jeff. We will always love you.

Living in Los Angeles, I heard the news of Jeff's passing. I grew up with him, and although I never met him I wept for the loss of him and I wept for those wonderful years when I was young in Toronto.

I have been a fan since the first time I heard "Angel Eyes". He was an amazing musician and had a fantastic voice. There will never be anyone to replace him. Rest in peace my friend.

I was nineteen when I first heard the Jeff Healey band and became an immediate fan. Through his music he's touched the world, made us cry with his touching ballads, and rock to his bluesy, jazz guitar solos. My deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers go out to his family and to all those loved him.
He will always be with us and I'm sure Jeff will forever see the light...and the light he left behind. God Bless.

I saw Jeff at Reds in West Edmonton Mall a few years ago in concert. Jeff was amazing. Your music will live on in our hearts. Rest In Peace. My sympathies go out Jeff's family and everyone around Him.

Jeff Healey's music has been a major part of my families lives. I will never ever forget dancing with my daughter at her wedding and both of us singing Angel Eye's together. My wife and I have spent many a night listening and singing to all his music. The music world has lost a great artist but his music will live on in all of us. Our hearts go out to his friends and family. Thank you Jeff for your wonderful music!

Rest in peace Jeff. I hope you are in a better place now.
My deepest sympathies go out to Jeff's family, friends, associates and all that knew him.
He will be missed.

This guy moved me. His playing was grasping. I loved his blues playing. "I Think I Love You Too Much" was one of my favorites. I can't believe he's gone, but rest assured, he left his mark on me (and I'm sure others as well). I could feel him as he played. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

I have never expressed my feeling for a celebrity before. Mr Healey was an amazing talent and a huge inspiration. my sympathy and prayers go out to his family and friends. He will be sorely missed

All of my love and sympathy go out to Jeffs family. He was a master guitarist and a long lasting inspiration to me as a guitarist. He will always be remembered and loved.

Jeff, you were one heckuva musician. I was only lucky enough to see you once in Edmonton - hope I get the chance to see you play again in the next life.

It was Jeff, after seeing him in Roadhouse, that made me appreciate the blues/rock genre. I am still a big fan. He will be missed. I'm sorry for his family's loss.

I was a big fan of Jeff and loved him in Roadhouse and got to see him live at the Blues Fest at Turtle Lake Casino in Williamsburg Mi. near Traverse City Michigan

My condolences to the family of Jeff Healey. I was fortunate to see him perform live at the Fillmore in San Francisco several years ago and was in awe of his guitar playing. I will always cherish his music. May his family find some peace in knowing he touched the lives of so many with his music.

Jeff Healey was an awesome guitarist with an infectuous spirit; I hope his love of his family and his overall determination to succeed were inspired by the Almighty, whom I trust Jeff can now see.

Jeff, your precious gift of music, was our vibrational medicine and in the song, you live on. I am grateful for your kindness to my sister, Monika, who went to the same school. By inviting 'the Blinks' to the front of the stage and back stage after the show, you gave her a memory she'll always remember. She adored your music, as did I, and she was thrilled that you were a regular guy. Blessings to the family. May peace welcome you. Safe home, Jeff.

What can I said ! He was a great Person of life he will be miss hope he find peace. He had a hard life but he made the most of it. We sould all Learn something from this. You can make it in this world That we live in !

I loved him in road house and I loved his music as a teenager and my teenage boy has loved him as well. He will truley be missed.

i remember how hard it was to learn guitar,i cant imagine doing it blind, maybe jeff was the reincarnation of blind boy fuller or blind lemon jefferson, good company for a short lived rocker.let his music play on.

I can remember exactly where I was to the detail because of the first time I heard See The Light and was transfixed. Years later I have hearing trouble and this world has lost not only a unique musician but a loving and humane soul, Norman Jeffrey Healey, thank you for your gift to us all.

We already miss you! We danced our 1st dance at our wedding to "Angel Eyes"...and gave you a note (in Braille) when you were here in Ventura, Cal. to tell you how much you were loved. We're sure all the greats Upstairs in Heaven welcomed you...and put you to work! What a massive talent & gift you had! Keep rocking, and we'll see you again! Love, Jen & Joe O.

the band upstairs just keeps getting bigger. you was one badass guitar player. you will be greatly missed. rock on my brother.
