I'm very sorry for the loss of Jeff and his music. I was and am a fan of his, just loved his voice and songs. His voice was remarkable with his songs. He will be sadly missed, I wish I had seen him in concert. He used to come to town almost every year to the local night clubs but didn't have a chance to go see him. I wish I had. Will be greatly missed. One of my favorite songs is Angel Eyes. I live in Kelowna , B.C.

Jeff was the closing act at our Thunder Bay Blues Festival last year and I said to my wife and son that his performance was the best of all the acts that had played over our six year history. He was clearly at his finest, and left a truely memorable, and magical experience for the many thousands of people there. It certainly left me to remark that Jeff was the best act that has played at our festival PERIOD. What an honour to have seen him.

"Jeff Healey"....... he was one-of-a-kind, he was talented beyond words, he was precious, he was real, he was rare. I had the privilege of hearing Jeff Healey perform at The Middle Deck (Halifax, NS) in the late 80's; that guitar was a part of him...Jeff Healey didn't just play the music he could make you "feel the music"....

I will always remember Jeff, not only as a great musician ,but a decent man who didn't let his fame go to his head.I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff at Grossman's tavern, on Spadina ave, south of Bloor.Jeff showed up unannounced like he did so many times for a jam at that bar.He and his band played a few tunes .I pulled my chair up right next to him at the stage.I am a guitar player myself and Jeff just blew my mind on how good he was.He broke a string in the middle of a solo and never stopped playing.I reached over and moved the string out of his way.It was the only time i saw him play live and I had the best seat in the house.I was introduced to him later and i couldn't believe how down to earth and friendly he was. He even stood in with us for a photo. So i was very sad when i heared that he had passed. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

i never question the reasons. I was in wpg friday night, clicking through the channels, and on the vision channel was jeff healey doing an interview, and i stopped and watch the whole hour. I usually don't watch interviews or biography, but i guess it was just meant to be to, because i am a fan of his, have been ever since roadhouse. When i got home i told my husband, Hey i saw jeff healey on vision, husbands response, didn't you know he passed away.........aaahhhh that's why i didn't click away from that channel.

Jeff's music helped me get through the hard times at the start of this year as I started living in France for a year. In fact, I wore out my ipod just listening to the "Get Me Some" album! I don't think I've ever heard a better song than "My Life Story", although it's hard to prefer one of his songs over another. Vaya con dios Jeff.

I have spent the last week listening to Jeff's music. His talent was magical. He could blow up your speakers with the most rocking guitar solo & then the next song was a beautiful ballad. Jeff you are missed greatly, the world of music will never be the same.

"Angel Eyes" has been one of my favorite songs since it cam out. It is on every music device I own. I could feel that Jeff lived that song; his words and voice were so sincere. Little did I know the story of who Jeff was, and that his life would be so short. God Speed to Jeff,, may the Angels keep you safe in their arms.

I remember meeting jeff and the band in 1990, i waited for 2 hours to get their autograph, and i still have it and jeffs plectrum on my wall. Jeff always somehow managed to write songs and music that contained all of my feelings, i am lucky enough to have been able to learn guitar and alot of jeffs songs, but never can i play them with the depth that he could. I listen to jeff healey most days, it just won't be the same now, Me and some other people have just done a music night in our local pub and we paid tribute to jeff, i found it very difficult tonight. You will be missed so much by alot of people. Thankyou for all you contributed to us.

The first time I heard Angel Eyes I had no idea who sang it but it was a beautiful song. It was the first song that my husband and I ever danced to. This song means so much to us becuase neither of us will ever forget that night. It has been our song every since. When i found out who sang it I instanly loved his music. He was truely a remarkable man with so much talent. You will be missed and thanks for the memories

I did not get an opportunity to see Jeff and his band play. However, he is one of the reasons I picked up a guitar for the first time. Also, he has been an inspiration to pick it up time and time again. He will be missed and Canada and the world has lost one of the greatest guitar players of modern time. I wish his family well.

We were lucky enough to meet Jeff and his lovely family this past summer at Severn Lodge . He was a guest for a week just as we were . He was so calm and caring as a father and as a man and our son- in- law and daughter had the unique opportunity to let him drive their boat. Jeff loved it. He was so appreciative. We had no idea his health was in such jeopardy. We will always think of him with the wind in his hair and a smile on his face. Love from the Smith- Totzke family

I remember when I first heard Jeff's music in the late 80's . What an awsome talent he was I never got to see him in concert, Although I did see concert footage on video. He was always smiling and he really felt the music he was playing. Unlike some of the people in music these days there was never a bad word said about Jeff because he was all about the music and he was a family man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family, bandmembers and friends. Rest In Peace Jeff. Rock & Roll Heaven just gained ond great guitar player/singer.
