The Jeff Healey Band opened my world to the blues, and for that I will be ever grateful. My heart goes out to his family. I hope they can find some shred of comfort in how he rocked and inspired so many.

A very sad day for my wife and I as we just found about Jeffs passing. Like many, Angel Eyes was our wedding song as well. I first saw Jeff when he opened for SRV at Alpine Valley Music Theater in 1989 and looking back, I realize how very fortunate I was to witness two legendary blues guitarists who were taken from us way to soon. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jeffs family and friends. God Bless & Peace Be With All of You!

My husband and I both fell in love with the music of Jeff Healey. My husband would sing Angel Eyes at the top of his lungs every time we heard it. My husband passed away almost 4 years ago at the age of 39. Everytime I hear that song it brings back lots of memories and happiness. Thank you Jeff. R.I.P. Jeff Healey

"While my Guitar gently weeps" think that is exactly what they will be doing. They, and the rest of us who appreciate good music. Jeff Healey was a gifted musician and person. I attended a Jeff Healey show many years ago in a nightclub in Cambridge (Ballenger's) and I left with goose bumps after witnessing his tremendous musicality. RIP and my deepest condolences to his family.

Jeff made me feel music in a very special way. There are very few guitar players that have had that effect on me, like Hendrix or SRV. But Mr.Healey had also that incredible and personal technique, that he used to give energy and feelings with his music. He was a great artist. I'll miss him.

I remember listening to Jeff for the first time back when I was a teenager. I was just blown away by the sound of that passionate, piercing, raw guitar. Jeff is gone but his music lives forever. Jeff remains an inspiration to me personally and too many many others. Goodbye Jeff R.I.P and thank you for the music.

About two years ao I had a chance to play with Jeff at his old club. After playing a tune with just the piano and Jeff, I guess I 'passed' the audition and we did The Lady's A Tramp with the full band. An amazing experience.

There are few words that describe the loss we have all suffered at the passing of Jeff Healey. His effect on guitarists everywhere will last for generations. Such talent is always taken too early.

I saw Jeff back in March of 1989 Live in Detroit. He put on one hell of a great show. It sure is a crying shame that he died so young. He will be sorely missed.

I first came across Jeff Healey via a late night video of "Confidence Man" that I happen to tape by accident on the end of a film. It is so rare to come across a new artist that totally blows you away and offers you something that stays with you. I have since bought the albums and attended the concerts and looked forward to following an artist younger than myself. I would like to thank Jeff for that first "Confidence Man" moment and all the music since that will stay with me forever and helped us all to see the light. Thanks
