Talent cannot be bought - you either have it or not and when we lose guys like Jeff, God bless them for the music and pleasure they leave behind for us to enjoy - listen to the words, listen to the notes, listen and soak it in - Thank you Jeff

Myself & five friends saw jeff and his band play at the mancherster students union hall on fri 6th october 2000. it was a night we will never forget. Jeff and the band plyed a superb gig, and really looked that they enjoyed the gig to a very appreciative crowd. Jeff's playing style ad his music will be etched in music history for ever,he was totally unique a one off without doubt. Thanks jeff, joe and tom for a night we wil never forget...Andy smith..UK.

What awesome musician Jeff was. I have every Tape and CD I could ever find of him because he was my all time favorite. He has created quite a legacy of music that will not be forgotten. I am so saddened by the loss of such a great person and musician.

I'm so glad I saw Jeff Healey as he was just coming out with Angel Eyes at the Elmocambo as well as a few shows later on. He really came a long way and it's sad to know we will miss him as well as what could have been. As with all great music his songs last forever and sound as good as or better than when you first heard them. Thanks for the awesome memories.

Along with family and friends, I attended a concert of Jeff Healey's, years ago, in Ottawa. It was an event I shall never forget! He was as beautiful as Adonis, and filled the vast room with his presence. It was an honour to hear and see him perform his music: raw human emotion that just emanated from him. Interestingly, and unlike many musicians, he had also a wonderful speaking voice, as well as his singing voice. It's hard for me to believe that he's gone. I adored him, and pray for him to enjoy good health, happiness and good fortune in his next life. My sympathies to his family and friends--I am so sorry for your loss. Friends of mine in the music industry have told me that he was a fine human being as well, and I believe them. He always seemed like a decent, thoughtful, intelligent man in any interviews of him that I have seen. May he rest in peace, and may his family be comforted and secure.

You will be greatly missed but now your in the hands of the lord playing for all the spectators in heaven . I can still hear you playing every time the wind blows. You were the greatest blues player there ever was and loved by all that knew of you , may you rest in peace and may god be with your family now for they have suffered a great loss also .

One of my very favorite movies is Road House, but only because of Jeff Healey. Hearing him sing Angel Eyes gives me chills and puts tears in my eyes.

There must be one heck of a gig happening right now. Rory Gallagher and Jeff Healey playing on the same stage. RIP

I've just learned of Jeff Healys death and cannot believe it. A legend is lost. Rock on Jeff

I saw , JEFF , for my first time at the old LARRY's HIDE-A-WAY , in , Toronto , Canada. JEFF , was just 18 years old and he and his band were the back up band , that fateful night.
He blew the main band off the stage. I then bought the album called , SEE THE LIGHT. I would later meet him at his own bar and he gave me his autograph. Yes , he could do that.
JEFF , was real class act with no huge ego and what an all around musical genius!
Thank you , JEFF , for many years of great albums and live shows. You are already missed by many. MESS OF BLUES = 5 STARS!
To his family , GOD's speed.

A very sad day for me! Jeff was loved by many and inspired me so greatly! I will miss him terribly.
Toni Cole

we saw jeff in the late 80's in redondo beach calif. he was one of the best! he will be missed

I picked up my first guitar at age 10 and threw in the towel many times. But when I discovered your music and unheard of talents, I pressed on and have never looked back. My son is now exploring the guitar and you were the first teacher he's been introduced to. You will be missed but an end will always create a new beginning !

Thanks for all the great tunes and times together with you,Joe Rockman and drummer Stephen! Ron and I met all of you in San Diego in the mid eighties at the Bacchanal. We had the Miami Coolers going on in our business and met up with you all at different places, mostly in the San Diego area. Joe,the last time we saw each other was after you opened for ZZ TOP in San Diego than we chatted briefly after I had told you Ron had passed on. Shortly after that I wrote a letter to you when you were back in Canada with the rest of the band. Jeff was a real person with a real kind heart and he will be missed by so many of your fans as well as myself. Hopefully,Jeff and Ron are in Heaven in peace from this world. Also,I had chosen Angel Eyes for one of the funeral songs at Ron's funeral. Take care and know that the most important thing in this world and the after world is JESUS CHRIST! When your heart is empty, filling it with happy memories will help. In His Strong Love, Linda Burtson and Ron too.

Heaven band just go a new Guitarist, God bless you will always be remembered

RIP Jeff
YOUR SPOT IN ROAD HOUSE WILL LONG BE REMEMBERED

I just discovered Jeff about three months ago. I'm bummed that such a great talent is no longer around to create. It's so cool to see how much he was loved. I guess it's up to us to enjoy memories and what he left behind. Peace

I am a rock musician who also enjoys blues & jazz. I saw Jeff perform in the 1990s and have followed his career closely. But more than his wonderful music, I have admired Jeff for his courage and optimism. I must say, I shed a tear when I learned he had lost his battle with cancer. God's speed Jeff. You touched us in so many ways, and will always be missed. Heaven has never sounded better than it does today!

My friend Mary White introduced him to me when we went to see him in Northern VA. Great guy, great music. At least we were all able to enjoy him while he was with us.

I met my wife at one of Jeff's concerts in leicester (uk) in 1990 so his memory will always hold dear to us...God bless Jeff

I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear that Jeff Healey passed away. I really loved his music. He was a great performer. I just recently bought his greatest hits CD and was so sorry to hear of him passing. My prayers go out to his family.
I remember when he was in "Road House" with Patrick Swayze. He was incredible. When he played in that movie, he looked like he was having a great time.
I will miss his wonderful music.

Just over 18 years ago I was going through a rough time in life. Out on my own at age 16-17. Many nights I would lay in bed and listen to "Angel Eyes". That one song got me through my troubled times. It's very heartbreaking that Jeff is gone. But, he has a new set of eyes and is looking down upon us. Rest In Peace Jeff!!!!

So glad Jeff came to Rescue Rooms at Nottingham. It was a memorable night, amazing player and a great band. He will be missed.

Just loved the way Jeff did while my guitar gently weeps.I have been using it as my ringtone for quite awhile. God speed Jeff

a true master of his craft, he reintroduced blues back into my life and for that i thank him...Jeff you will be missed mate. Rest In Peace.

What a supreme tallent, one of the best guitarists ever, never got to meet you but thanks for the music Jeff, rest in piece. Dave B , England.

Jeff's music was so great . I actually had the chance to talk to Jeff , Joe and Tom in Knoville , Tn , May , 9,1991 at The Bijou Theatre . They all were so nice . Jeff will be missed more than he will ever know , he truly was Angel Eyes .

privileged to see jeff last year in nottingham, never forget it,never forget him.Rest in peace jeff.

Jeff's music touch'd me, & after seeing him perform live & in person in Edmonton with our son-in-law, whom we lost in a car accident last year; I trust they are both in a much better place now & both their memories & music live on in us>>> their "FANS"

I had the great privilege to attend one of Jeff's concerts on one of his western Canada tours about 4 or 5 years ago. I believe I was in the presence of a master artist. He was also a great showman, fun loving and an inspiration to us all. Thankfully his music lives on and his memory. He will most surely be missed by his family, friends and the rest of the music world.
