This is such a big loss. I am so sorry she is done. I love every episode of the Golden Girls - Bea's personality is absolutely increadible. She will be missed.

Bea was such a funny lady. She could do more with a look rather than word than anyone. Golden Girls has been a wonderful thing in reruns to keep me laughing and watching true ladies. Betty White and Rue will sure miss Bea as I will. Go make them smile Bea.. we'll miss you so much!

I have loved Bea, since i was a child, and that has been for 44 years now. She never set the world on fire with her lucious looks, but with her acting skills. Her big hair and heart. I think we are all so lucky to have known her. Her accomplishments are so outstanding. All she ever wanted was anyones approval to be the best. We guess what honey you were the best, One of the greatest actress's we will ever have for sure. I just found out today about Bea Arthur's death and am shocked. I didn't know she was even ill. I thought she'd live forever and continue to make us all laugh. Her comedic timing was great. I loved Golden Girls. Didn't watch Maude much...a little before my time. She will be sorely missed by the entertainment industry and the fans who enjoyed her!

Thank you for so many happy shows. No one can replace you. I cannot believe you are gone. Your show is the best on TV to brighten a day.

....there was no one like Bea, her sense of humour on The Golden Girls was just brilliant. She always made me laugh with her dry wit and delivery. I'm only sorry I never got to see her in other things as I am English and therefore it didn't get broadcast here. When I got SKY satellite all I wanted was to see The Golden Girls again and now I have 4 boxed sets. Zborny will be well missed by me and long live her memory through my DVDs. X

Ms. Bea Arthur was one of the ladies who's style portrayed strong, yet feminine womanhood. Her comedy made us think at the same time as it made us laugh. I feel fortunate for having viewed her acting during my lifetime. We will all miss her. . .

Funny how a person you have only ever seen on tv shows can become such an important role model in your life. Ms. Arthur was simply a wonderful entertainer and that's a rarity now days. I wish I could have seen her in person. I love the Golden Girls and all the actors. My 8 year old daughter even wants to watch it now. RIP and thank you for being our friend.

I always loved the Golden Girls and especially Dorothy. Dorothy was great and always added the wit that was needed in each episode. As the years have passed, the memories of The Golden Girls have remained. I love to watch them on TV LAND and I guess it just shows we all are getting older and we all shall pass on to the other Land. May her family and friends know that she will surely be missed, but we shall continue to watch over and over the laughter and joy of The Golden Girls.

A very nice tribute and I realize it was an unintentional error, but in the interest of maintaining factual accuracy regarding her career, the actual name of her first sitcom was simply titled, "MAUDE" and not "HERE COME'S MAUDE".

Bea Arthur, thanks for being a friend. I enjoyed you so much, to this day I still watch you all the time, you were one true Golden Girl, and you will always be our Golden Girl.
