Tony, not only were you a loving and grounded father to our gorgeous Ariani, you added so much to our lives as the extended family group, 'the Grays' of Hopetoun, Melbourne, Clifton Springs, Sydney and Goonengerry. Your cooking for those those wonderful huge Indonesian-Australian garden parties at Bindy Street was famous. Those parties were a fabulous mix of musicians, artists, teachers, children and everybody one could imagine. Your presence in our family added so much to our understanding of Indonesian history and culture and of Asian ways of thought and spirituality, we have all been enriched by this. I personally appreciated your generosity to our family, especially to Gwen as she went through her long aging process, and to all of our extended family of friends who visited Bali. Your presence will be severely missed and lovingly remembered. With love from Sally

So sorry to hear about Tony passing away..our love to Ariani and Margot and family..my memory is a video taken at Bindi St when my youngest son Adam was a newborn..and Jarryd was 4..they are now 17 and 21..but we watched this video over and over again..kids riding trikes and playing in the garage with toys, lots of friends and yummy food to share..Jane and Neddy..and Di and Jeff, myself and Udien, janice and Usman and many more friends..with all the kids having a ball on the swings and playing together..Tony and Margot were fantastic hosts and it was a beautiful day. I will try to find this and pass it on for you..Thinking of you all...Karen xoxox

Fond memories of the Caulfield days when we shared (and disliked) our landlord. Ah we were young then! Rest in peace Tony.
