Although I have never had the pleasure of meeting Tom, I know that he made Donna very happy. The first time I saw Donna after many years, she told me of her new love, Tom, Her face and smile said it all. I am so sorry for your loss Donna. I am praying for you; wishing you a heart filled with peace. Let us know if there is anything we can do for you and your family here in NH.
What a guy. A friend to all. Unpretentious. Steadfast in his beliefs and core values but so very open and embracing of others. Tom loved life and lived it to the fullest. For many recent New Year's Eves, Tom and his lovely wife Donna would gather with my family and Tom Shymanski's family - it has been a great tradition of sharing drink and great food. We missed them this past New Years, both were fighting a bad cold that was going around. I never thought for a moment that we wouldn't ever see Tom again. Just shocking. Tom Tolen became a GREAT CHEF. He loved to share his talents on these New Year's Eve parties and when he would host dinners at his home in Antioch. He was a thought-leader in his field of lighting. He was completely devoted to his wife Donna. I already miss him terribly.
