Dear Lee and Karen, I am so sorry that I only just found out. Over the past few weeks I have been wondering why I hadn't heard from Tom - as last year we were always planning to go to the races and to a favourite restaurant of his in Geelong. Sadly, illness on both sides meant we had to postpone these trips and it's now too late. I have lots of funny memories of your Dad from my time spent with Neil Foster. The first time I met Tom, Neil told me we were having lunch with Billy Snedden!! Also can remember lots of boozy times in the Box Hill house -visits later when Tom and Den were at Bermagui - so many things. Your father was a lovely man and a loyal friend and I will miss him.
