I have only just heard of Terri's death from a friend in SA. I played state cricket against Terri for many years and we had a wonderful time on and off the field. Terri was a founding member of the infamous "Bottlebrush Club" - a testament to her greatl sense of humour and love of life. As a fellow spin bowler Terri and I had many chats about our craft and I am very sad to hear of her passing. Condolences to her partner and family

Terri loved to be at the centre of things and always made sure she was well noticed in any crowd. She was tall, strong, funny and loud. She loved to celebrate whenever she had the opportunity and she had the ability to enliven even the most boring of situations. She was a fierce opponent on the cricket field and took no prisoners. She was an awkward, but successful, spin bowler and a terrific bat. She loved to hit the ball very hard and very far. Her favourite shot was an absolute belter, straight over the bowlers head, usually for six runs and always with a great big smile on her face. My favourite memory of Terri was back in 1991. Terri and I helped our team to win a gold medal for Indoor Cricket in the Masters Games in Brisbane. We batted last together in the grand final and with the odds against us, we made an unbeaten 56 runs to win the game. Terri was at her ferocious best - I will never forget the determination she showed and the exhileration and pride we felt. I am so sad that Terri has gone. She was a wonderful woman who deserved so much more. I will think of her always. My thoughts are with Michelle and family.
