I never met Steve but because of his enthusiastic nature he was easy to warm to and his crazy adventures were always fun and interesting to see. I miss him dearly and knowing his family are continuing his good work through education and conservation at Australia Zoo and Wildlife Warriors is the way forward and what he would have wanted. I always wanted to meet you and Terri at Australia Zoo and see the zoo and all that it had because. Your energy was contagious. I just finished reading Terri's book and want too see your zoo even more. You are so dearly missed. The world of animals was lucky to have you here on earth to protect them and to teach humans how to coexist with them. I am sure you are up in heaven taking care of the animals that have passed on.

Steve, my wife just travelled halfway around the World to visit your dream. You may be gone but Australia Zoo will see you will live forever. A true tribute to your genius. You truly can rest in peace!

I will never forget the first time I saw u wrestle a croc, so passionate about saving them and other aussie animals. You will be greatly missed by all.

Although i never knew you personally, i feel as though i did, you were amazing and i loved the work you did. i have learnt a heck of a lot from you, when i sit and watch 'The Crocodile hunter' its asthough you are still here, but where ever you are you will be with your crocs and will never fail to amaze others. I remember when i was little, i loved watching The Crocodile Hunter. Steve Irwin was my hero, and he still is. When i heard that he passed from being pierced in the heart by the stingray, it pierced my own heart. He passed only 9 days before my stepmom passed... I've been watching Bindi the Jungle Girl since it started. I love it, and i love the fact she did it to be like her father. Crikey, We miss you!

we miss seeing steve, but most of all we miss hearing him. when his tv shows were on the kids would all run around shouting crikey ave a look at this fella etc. now if a repeat is shown or the specials advertised they sit quietly except for a few sniffles and a sudden increase in kleenex use .

I remember watching him on TV and always thinking..."how does he do that??". He was an incredible human being, and even though I never got a chance to meet him, I can tell that he had a really kind heart. Losing a man like Steve is definitely a huge loss to the world, but his legacy will always live on and continue to inspire for years and years to come.

It's SO sad that Steve Irwin died. He left behind a wife, 2 kids and an incredible legacy. He may be dead but he will never leave our hearts and minds.
