Paul Roe December 2010. I am currently writing a thesis on the power of storytelling and was recalling the impact of Scott McPheat when I was a schoolboy at Epping Boys High 45 years ago. This prompted me to check the web and find this site. I wanted to add a personal thanks to him for his animated telling of the great stories of the Bible and for his fine book telling John Flynn's story. He sowed a love for the stories of my own country, a debt I have tried to repay by doing the same for the next generations of young Australians. He has successfully created a living memorial.
