I feel I have to add this. In life, you need people to believe in you, to give you that chance that you need in life just to get going. He gave me that chance. When I learned of his passing after googling him on the internet, I was shocked. RIP Rupes.

I remember when he used to pick me up after kinder garden

I have many happy memories of school days with Rupert in UK and stayed in touch with him as a friend through his Carphone days in UK and then also after he moved Down Under. He gave me many happy memories and I hope one day to recount some of these to Juliet and children. Fond memories, Dave

Goodness me. I just learned of this. Very sad to see such a character go so suddenly. Rupert helped me in a job search earlier this year and we got on really well. Just warns you to look after the most important things in life while they are here. Thanks for crossing my path. Cheers, Luke Knowles

Rupert was a client who had to become a friend so that I could see more of him! He was always optimistic, always open to new ideas and never took himself too seriously. In these ways, although seemingly very English, he was a real Australian. I will miss seeing him.
