Ruby was a faithful and loving wife to my father for many many years. She was my stepmother and I first met her in 1972 when I first met my father as well. Subsequently I journeyed from England to Australia on 3 further occasions in the company of my wife, Tricia. Ruby was a highly principled woman who I respected greatly. Regrettably we have only just learned of her death following her many years of illness. We had remained in contact until quite recently but sadly learned from other Australian friends of her passing.
