I was saddened to discover recently that Ron had passed away. I met Ron while I was working on assignment In Sydney. We became good friends and he helped to acquaint me with all things Oz, especially the Western Bulldogs! I will always have wonderful memories of our times together.

I knew Ron when he was married to my best friend in the 80s. I remember him as a lovely man and always regretted that we lost touch after my friend died. I am glad he found love and happiness in Tasmania.

For Ron the one true love of my life. The 5 very short years we had together were the best years of my life. I will forever cherish all the memories. Now that Joyce and you my man have passed life is so much the poorer. love you alway's. Micky

New friendships form when you least expect it, thats how it was with us. Unfortunately it was not a friendship that had time to grow. I will take what little we had and treasure the memory of it always. Rest in peace my friend. Narelle
