Rolly was a good man
He helped me, and others, with many things freely giving his time and muscle.
Rolly introduced me to the "man hug" many moons ago, greetings and goodbyes were special.
He had the the ability to engage in discussions for hours about any old "stuff", learning and adding during the time.
Rolly was a good man to many.

out the front of his house at chippendale, there was this pole, like a "no parking" sign or something, rol would give it a mighty kick at various places and it would sound awesome and twangy, low and high. it made us kids laugh and then we would try to kick it and it would just go 'thud'.....xx

Rolly was my big brother. I always loved and looked up to him. He helped me through my life while i grew up and I looked forward to growing old with him.
That is gone now.
Love Davy.

You were always welcoming when I visited Pronto Sydney. Your smile and infectious sense of humor and wit will always be with me. Go well 'White Man', I hope you are at peace now. I only wish I had made the effort to keep in touch.

an ideas man. many projects and challenges we built when i was a child.
1. bmx track at wagga farm with a tractor (also the first one to test it out) but i went one better and drove the ATV on the track instead, i think rol said 'put a helmet on'
2. a mouse house/cage. together we welded, bent, and slid together made from old oven trays and a small grate.
3. various sized yabby nets and cages, i'd get right in the dam and sometimes brought in turtles (rol liked grilling them with garlic and butter)
i'll add some more stuff now i found this site...

You were always friendly when ever I visited Pronto Sydney, great sense of humour and wit. I really dont know what more to say at this very very sad time. Condolences to your family; I hope you are at peace now.

This is how I remember you Roland:
You always dressed immaculately in your black suit.
You helped me when ever I had difficulties with what I had to do at Pronto when I was a newby as a consultant.
You worked hard and long hours.
You always for ever polite, smiles never left you face.
We talked about horses and the truck that you purchased.
R.I.P my friend, you are going to be sadly missed by all.
