Peter,
We cannot believe we will not share good times together again.
Our love for you over the last 27 years has been as our son.
Our memories are wonderful and we will never forget.
Your loving Mum and Dad-in-law.
Alf and Dorothy.

Thank you everyone for being the best family and friends Ashley Harry and I could have. Your flowers, words of comfort and donations to charity have been so warmly received. This is a very tough time and words can't explain how much we loved, and will miss Peter... the childrens' dad...my dear bundle.

i love you mate :)

I remember an occasion in Hawaii on Ex Tropic Lightning when myself, Peter, Neil 'Rocky' L. and Geoff J. had borrowed a huge Chevy Impala from an American friend to go into Honolulu, which I as the youngest was selected by Peter - as erstwhile Adjutant - to drive! So, I had a quiet night drinking water while the others enjoyed Moose McGillicuddy's and other watering holes. The return into Fort Schofield was the funniest though, as I didn't have a US ID or US license, to which the very jumpy MPs on the gate didn't take too kindly! Pete's attempts at humorously defusing the situation with dry Aussie wit continued to deteriorate the situation, and it seemed we were all destined for a cool night in the slammer, if the guy whose car we borrowed didn't turn up and vouch for us all!
Our sympathy to Debbie, Ashley & Harry and family at this time. It was a pleasure to know Peter and we will miss him. Nick & Ngaio Floyd.

I will never listen to "Run to Paradise" or "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" ever again without you in the forefront of my memories. The times we shared changed my world forever. I loved you like a brother. I am here for my darling Deb, Ashley and Harry....

Peter was always a fun, loving fellow. My memory goes back a long way. You were there when needed.
Who now, is going to eat the apple slice with butter.
Mum and dad always enjoyed your visits.
To All The Maw Family - Peter held a special place in my heart
RIP Peter
Love Shani and Rod

Peter was one of life's true gentlemen, interesting to talk to and a very knowledgeable man, an absolute pleasure to have known even though it was for a short time. We will always remember him for the work he did for the Men shed in Puckapunyal. Our thoughts are with his family. God bless. Paul & Suzanne Hesk

We remember Pete and family with warmest feelings. Somehow we always expected to see you all back here again. Pete will not be forgotten by the friends and neighbors he left behind on this side of the world. Our hearts are with you all.
The Day Family (Jonathan, Anneke, Saskia and Larry)

To Deb and Family - my sincere condonledences. It's been a long time since I have seen you but my heart ached when I read the news of Peter's passing.

A lovely gentle man, who loved his family and his job, respected by many remembered by all. Been a long time since we met face to face but you will be missed by us all. Aunty Glenda and all her family....

Some of my happiest memories involve going skiing with both you and Peter when we all lived in Wodonga. It was hilarious how Peter called me Esme as he could never get his tongue around my name. A good man who will be missed by so many. My heart is with you at this sad time, Ailsa Montgomery

Pete,
You were the most genuine man to have entered our lives. The love you have left behind is so great, it's even overwhelming to the lives you had briefly touched. It's so strange to think that someone who was as bright and full of life as you could be taken so suddenly.
Your memories will be kept alive - but just for now, I'd like to think it's another overseas posting and when it's finnished, you'll catch up with your friends and family and we'll all be able to see your smiling face once again.
Our heartfelt condonlences to all of Peter's family and friends.
To Deb, Ashley and Harry - Pete was one in a million. He loved you all so much and he chose you to share his life and experiences- for that, you are so lucky to have had a connection with such a beautiful soul.
Rest in peace until we meet again. x
