What a privilege to have known Peter for the past 16 years. He was my sponsor, confidant, golf buddy, the father i never had and sooo much more. My Grandpa once told me if you could count your true friends on one hand when you died you had a full life, Peter was one of my five. I will celebrate all that he was and all that he inspired me to become. I,ll never forget the first time I met Peter at La Meas Men's Group, we were sitting in the back, when How it Works was read and it got to the part "there are no dues or fees for AA membership", he leaned over to me and asked "did they say no Jews or thief's, that counts me out". I left San Diego after listening to Peter and the other Ceder Street "Guru's" for a little over eight years. Their has been several times when things Peter said at the podium would 'bubble' up in my head to help me deal with life at that moment. I'm still not doing this thing right...but i'm sure as heck not doing it wrong. Thank You Peter. You may not be here, but, you'll always be with me.

Sitting on the shores of Lake Murray and having one of the many one on one conversations about Life. To think I could have been calling him PJ this whole time. Still in shock but I do remember him wanting a true celebration so I better pull out of this funk before next weekend.
