I only got a few years of knowing you, but my fondest memory of you are those nights at the RATS, you were always fun, caring and considerate in every conversation and totally the hottest guy there. I am missing the inability to share more of those times with you.
You are greatly loved by more than you know !!

I grew up in Bondi..... Went to School with your sister Tia.... I know your whole family... I remember you being cheeky, fun loving, kind, funny, a good talker and a guy who could surf anything....You will be missed by us all...But....mostly by your beloved children..... We are all asking ourselves WHY??....Only you know the reason.....Surf the wild waves of Heaven....We love and miss you and always will. My thought and prayers are with the Cram Family. xoxo

I will always remember Paul from Christian Brother Bondi, with his big smile and always happy, you will be sadley missed Paul as you were one of a kind.

Wow.... life certainly has its ups and downs and the day I heard of Paul's passing I was very down knowing we had lost someone who was so cherished.... since the 70's Paul had always made me smile with his infectious laugh and great outlook on life.... being part of the same bondi/bronte tribe was one thing but you seem to connect with some more than others and I always had a close brotherhood happening with Paul mainly because I felt so comfortable around him. We never had to even say much... just hoot and smile at each other... when I was doing the contests in NZ in the early 80's Paul was my mate who showed me the ropes and introduced me to so many great people.... you could tell he was so respected and deservedly so..... he was a true gentleman and animal rolled into one..... condolences to all his wonderful family.... luv you Paul.... will catch up with you one day again and can't wait to see your cheeky grin...
Matt

We will always love you
You were unique
Your laughter always remembered
Your sparkling eyes unforgettable
You will be in our hearts forever
We love you - we miss you so much x x

I remember you Paul when we all used to go to the Bronte Inn, 20 years ago now!!. You always walked in with a big smile on your face, you were so easy to chat to, and were always 'the sensible one'. You used to sit me down and give me boy advise!! And you were always right! You were a person with such a generous spirit, non judgemental and always calm and laid back. You would always be smiling and laughing. I can still see your smile today. So sad that you have gone, I know you will be greatly missed. God bless xxxxx Renny

My earliest memory of you Paul was a young efferervesent fun loving teenager ! You had a wicked sense of humour and so much life ....now I am so saddened to ask why ?.I know your family loved you so much and you were the apple of your older brother's eye.Your brother ..my first love !
Yes certainly life is a challenge for all and for some it is a struggle .I pray now you are at peace , at a place where we all go ,so for the time being Paul goodbye and we will miss you BUT we will all meet again !
Love always

15 years agoThe last time I saw Paul was in Bali at Ulu's about this same time last year; I was living in Bali and didn't know Paul was there at the time. Whilst surfing at Ulu's I heard this unmistakeable voice and laugh whilst out the back, paddled over and said 'what the f*ck are you doing here'... Regretably, he was leaving that day. I said, stay at my place and I'll take you to the airport. When we were out surfing at Ulu's I noticed he had a brand new R-rated surf board shaped for him, by him, and a friend said why don't you buy it from him as I was already surfing one of his Cram surfboards, but I didn't have the cash at the time. When I took him to the airport, as I was unloading his gear he turned and gave me the surfboard and boardcover for nothing. I have known Paul for 35 years and grew up with him in Bondi. I wish I could go back in time and tell Paul that there's always someone to talk to. Condolences to all Paul's family. I'll miss his cheeky grin and sense of humour. Harry Smith and Brothers
