Hi Aunty Maureen, Mike, Peter & Paul,
I have just been speaking to Dad and he told me that Uncle Pat had passed away. I remember us all in England having a great time with all the other QANTAS brats and families.
I will always remember Uncle Pat and the work he did with the Blind & Deaf Institution "Pathfinders" when we got back from England.
Even thought I have not seen him for a long time, I will remember him.
Love always,
Gai Goldsmith (nee Pascoe)

Dear Pat, you were one of Qantas Airways favorite sons. A outstanding FSD, father confessor to Pilots, Cabin Crew, and ground staff, you loved people, you were wise, you were kind. May you find that aircrew bar in the sky and meet so many of your friends who have gone before you, RIP Pat.

Patrick McGann, surely one of Qantas Airways most favorite sons. A gentleman, a mate, a FSD who ran the cabin of a QF aircraft like clockwork, father, friend, to Pilots, Cabin Crew and ground staff alike. Fly free Pat, may you find your friends in that crew bar in the sky.

To all the McGann's,
We are deeply saddened by your loss. We will cherish the memories of the times we spent together. We are with you during this time of grief.
Regards
Craig & Suzanne McLaren

13 years agoG’day Arlys Thanks for what you said about dad. Its very much appreciated by us as a family and me personally. You’re right, he was a good bloke, but I suppose we are biased, naturally. The air crew bar will be rocking now-dad and his stories. They'd be having a great old time. I made the point when I gave his eulogy that Australia can’t afford to lose good people like him. Anyway, thanks very much again Best wishes Mick McGann
