Dear Ian and Family, I wanted to take the time to write to you today, to express my sympathy for the loss of your wife Pamela. Like you, my life has been touched by the untimely death of a loved one. My friends and family were a great comfort, but what helped me to cope was reflecting on the Bible's hope of seeing my loved one again, in what the Bible calls the Resurrection Hope". When all our dear friends and family that have passed away, will be brought back to life. Here are just a couple of scriptures in the Bible which describe this hope. Isaiah 25:8 "He (God) will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces"... John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice (the voice of Jesus) and come out". I sincerely wish all the best for you and your family at this time. Kind Regards, One of Jehovah's Witnesses"

For years I have searched for you, and to find you now, in this way, breaks my heart. It has been 35 years since I saw you last, in London, on your way home to your beloved Ian and your forthcoming marriage. I knew you so briefly, but loved you from the moment I met you. You were a beautiful soul that touched me in my youth and I wish we had stayed in contact. Be at peace my love, you will always remain in my heart.

Dear Ian and family, My heartfelt condolences. Pam was the most wonderful person working in the media industry - she was always kind, earnest and empathetic. I will always remember her warmly, and you should have comfort in the fact that her spirit acts as a guide for all of us who aspire to be all that she was. God bless, David.

To the most beautiful and wonderful friend I could ever have had in my life- YOU defined the word angel" on every level of one's life. Your love and genuine appreciation of others was a magical trait ...and I feel honoured to have been part of your and Ian's life for so many years. We have laughed together..and reminisced together and always you offered me your heart and warmth like no other.. You accepted me as family and taught me how to love, learn and in the face of adversity- how to be strong and courageous...Traits that you followed yourself until you closed your tired eyes. You are with me today..tomorrow..forever my sweetheart... and we will chase that rainbow by following it's colourful aura TOGETHER from this world to the next... I will see you again one day Pammy- I know I will. In the interim.. I will live with you by my side...and that in itself comforts my soul and aching heart today I LOVE YOU FOREVER PAMMY .. amen. Pam, You were a very special lady. I will remember your kind heart and wonderful sense of humour. Also your kindness to me 12 years ago. I was new to this country and to Australian Media, and was very lucky to receive your help and advice, which you gave with an open heart. With loving memory, Angus
