Dear Mum,
We are struggling without you. We now realise the integral role you played in keeping our family together and talking. You were the glue that held us together and unfortunately we are pulling apart at the moment. We undertstand now, more about ourselves, more about you and more about our father and our family dynamics. We can't bring you back. We can't see you one last time. We can't talk about you with Dad because he can not talk to us as equals. We are however talking more between the brothers and their families.
I have taken one important thing from your death, don't live life wondering in silence, speak up and be heard, like you were. I didn't always agree with what you had to say, but at least I knew where you stood. I would like to think that people now know where I stand. I refuse to give people the silent treatment anymore as it is weak.
I love you. Peta and the boys love you. All your family loves you and misses you and wish you were still here. Hopefully I will see you one day in the distant future.
From you forever loving son Stephen

We miss you so much Gran.
We know you are looking down on us, we are looking up to you and sending all our love, cuddles & kisses.
