Mrs Strang was my class teacher in year 5, and I will always remember her for all the fun and joy she brought to the classroom everyday. I vividly remember the daily maths challenge we had, where the entire class would have a race to see who can solve 30 multiplications questions the quickets, and it was impossible to beat Mrs Strang!
Thank you for everything Mrs Strang, I will always remember you. RIP.

Mary and Chris have greatly enriched our lives. Their warm welcome to us as we settled in Singapore was top notch - we became part of the "family". Mary's support to Alexis as she battled her illness, away from the comfort of home, was unselfish and heart warming.
Mary's wholehearted zest for life made all our lives much more special.
Your memory will live on within us,
Peter & Alexis

Mrs Strang taught Stacey in Grade 3S in 2005. She was a great teacher and Stacey has happy memories of that year. Mary and other teachers stayed up all night playing cards at the Camp at the Singapore Zoo to protect the children from wild animals and make sure they were safe.
Our thoughts are with you all at this very sad time.
Kind regards, White family

I had the pleasure of working with Mary for six short months in 2007 at AIS Singapore, and she has been in my thoughts since then.
We bonded over our shared love of correct grammar and spelling, and we both lamented the demise of good manners!
She was a funny, supportive, inspiring, cheeky classroom neighbour, and she made my time at AIS memorable.
Mary- thank you!
My thoughts are with Chris and the family.

A very sad time indeed! Mary was a fantastic support for our son Dominic when she taught him in Year 4 at AIS Singapore. Dominic had a terrible accident (Christmas 2004) and Mary helped him rehabilitate throughout 2005. Without Mary, Dominic may not have recovered as well as he did. We are forever grateful. Mary was a gifted and talented teacher and a great friend! Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chris and family during this very sad time. May Mary rest in peace.

The world needs more people like Mary. With us for 14 years in Singapore, Mary was delight to work with, always thinking of others first, at odds with todays children's "manners", she liked things done "properly", the world best proof reader, she loved her tennis and mahjong and always had time to share her funny stories, anecdotes and advice with her colleagues and her "surrogate" children - the young teachers and her students.
Thank you for touching our lives, with your stories, laughter and smiles.
Our thoughts are with you Chris, Emily & Russell.

Being a friend and colleague of Mary is an honour. Working alongside her each day at the Australian International School during 2007 was a pleasure. Mary made me smile, supported me in times of need an offered valuable advice.

Mary was one of the warmest, joyous people we knew. We will miss her.
