Whether she was singing in front of our band, keeping 100 Rotarians in order as an hilarious Master at Arms or running a successful, albeit chaotic, hairdressing business, Marie was larger than life. She was easy to love and amazed that we did. Yet with all her big personality Marie was shy and modest. Every memory I have of her, even when she forgot the lyrics, is of woman having fun.
