I only just heard of the very sad loss of Maria Quinn. She was a wonderful woman who was strong, self-assured and completely beautiful. She was an immense support to me when I moved to Sydney and our many "Lord Nellie" lunches will continue to bring a smile to my face. My thoughts go out to her family. I feel blessed to have known her. xx

I opened my email this morning to read the sad passing of my wonderful friend Maria. We met at McCann Erickson in Sydney many years ago. I came overseas in the mid sixties and Maria and I linked up again and shared an apartment in Toronto. Terry I am thinking of you and the boys ..you are all in my prayers. Your Mother was an incredibly talented lady. She sent me The Gene Thieves a wonderful legacy to her writing skills. Talented, Beautiful but what I remember best was jer sense of humor..I never saw her let any situation get her down.Damon and Hamish she loved you dearly and she was so proud of her beautiful grandchildren.. she sent me photos of the three of you.
