Dad was quick with a joke and quicker with an opinion! I remember Summer nights watching the cricket and listening to the crickets at Cromer. Being dragged all over Sydney for dog shows, hair in pigtails and wearing Spaniel T-shirts!!! Yep, I miss the Chinese banquets and the Xmas get togethers too! See you Dad, I'll miss you. Love Jane

My oldest memories of my Uncle (Lyle Grenville Muir) and my Aunty Joan was visiting them and the family at Manly - and I remember he loved his King Charles Spaniels and I also remember how excited we were when he bought back interesting trinkets from overseas. Love & Kisses Niece Michele

One of my memories of my father was his strength of comittment and sense of duty and responsibility to his family. I miss the get togethers at Xmas with family and friends. The chinese banquets cooked by my father and the weekend barbecues. Dad was the king of comedy and loved to entertain, I am sure we will all miss those days! Goodbye dad, you were a big personality that always ruled the day. Your eldest daughter Victoria
