Layne I did not have the pleasure of listening to you in your prime. I have just resently started listening to your music and have fallen in love with AIC. After leaning about you the more I wanted to know. And the more I found out the more connected to you I felt. I would have ben there everyday for you. I am sorry that you had to leave us like that but I would hope taht you are in a better place and are healed. You seemed to be a beautiful person inside and out and hate that you went thru so much pain. Although you do not like people to think of the addiction when they think of you, I think that you have helped people understand more about addictions. Don't start because one day it will all catch up to you. And then it is not all fun and games. You will live on in our hearts forever.....Please know that you have touched lives and have people down here who love you more than you will ever know. People you have met and people you haven't. And I hope that when it is my time to go that our paths could cross and I would get to meet the beautiful person I have come to love. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE WITH ME............

My Layne,,,my favorite singer, AIC ~Group growing up with the band and all the cd's as they came out, just buying them at the local record store....already just as a mature teenager, really understanding the lyrics and reading up on drugs...thinking.."Wow" "What a party." ....Until you find out on your own.., if your lucky, there is no party, that there is darkness and sadness.. Unfortunately,, Listening still to AIC and Laynes Sad Lyrics, and cries for help.....One day waking up and learning he passed away, all that came to an end, and so now, it is questions, and enless prayer, "WHY" .. Laynes lyrics, changed my life.. Helped me out of the darkness and got be straight.....I MISS HIM.... and STILL PRAY FOR HIM.....LAYNE YOU ARE ALWAYS WITH ME...... God bless..

Through these years, we must never forget that Layne was amazing and he will never be forgotten....It's just a shame to know how he was struggling to cope with an addiction. After Demri passed, he gave up his will to live. It's sad to realize that LOVE is suppossed to set you free and conquer all, but yet it can be the death and tradegy of the ones that we care for sooo much....Drugs also don't help much in a relationship and they should be avoided at all costs. We must always keep the emotions in layne's music alive and there will never be another quite like Layne. R.I.P. Layne Staley

Layne was born to be a lead singer,what a truly incredible voice that man had. Such a sad end for his lost soul. Hope he`s at peace forever. Thanks for the upload,it brought tears to my eyes.
