Since the day our boys started school together and you invited me home to have a cuppa (which became code for a Gin and Tonic) we have been such great mates. You made me feel so welcome as a newcomer from Perth. We shared dreams and laughter, heartache and despair and in those 3 fast and fantastic years we became so close that when it was time to go back to the West, I hoped that distance would not dim this wonderful friendship. It always amazed me how each time we would catch up on the phone or on interstate holidays how quickly we fell into the comfort of each other’s company. You were always..... full of ideas, scheming and making plans, generous with your time, hunting for that bargain, making the most of every moment, one-eyed about your boys, addicted to shoes, holding a fag, and mixing Margaritas. I miss you Kerri.

During our thirty year friendship, we shared laughter and tears, hopes and dreams, success and failure but most of all we celebrated real friendship. I feel privileged to have been your friend. I admired your positive outlook on life, your happy nature and great sense of humor. I admired your loyalty and devotion to your family, I admired your modesty for your artistic and creative talents, your tireless pursuit to success and happiness. You were an amazing mother and a friend to your loving family and friends always demonstrating unconditional love, support and encouragement. I love you and will miss you Ann Georgis
