Dad, your duty is done. Rest in peace old man.
Jim, Clare & Carla Barker.

This is from Kay, Ken's sister. I have only just heard today. Wendy had called, and as fate would have it, my phone was out of order. Thus Wendy's message was sent to some remote voice box. But Wendy called Jen who then called me and I e-mailed and called Wendy today (Thursday 2nd). I am so very very saddened. Not because he is now in a place which will finally give him rest, but because he was ours. My love to Penny and John, Jim and Clare,Wendy, and Robin and Paul and all those lovely grandchildren. And to dear Helen who has been such a wonderful and loving wife to him. I believe that had I known in time I would have tried to fly out in time for the service. But I know you all know that I so enjoyed seeing him in 2006 and bantering happily with him. That brings me a large measure of peace. My love to all and I will be phoning very shortly. Also, I will honour his wishes re the RSPCA. Love and hugs Kay
