Jonathan Goddard fumble return TD vs Kansas St.
Having attended Marshall through the plane crash I know personally of the loss of young football players. The pain has not entirely gone away even until this day. My prayers and thoughts are extended to his family, my alumni family and to his friends.
I looked forward to every home game in Huntington, to see #50 play. He was great! I had the opportunity to get to know him. Not only was he a great football player, but a wonderful person. I will miss him so much!

May 31, 2008 Chilling with Crush teammates and fans at team picnic
My family met Johnathan at our Club Crush picnic with the team in May. A fine young man, and a tragic loss. At last nights Crush game I saw several posters held up in tribute to him by fans in the stands. My condolences to all of his family and friends.
Johnathan had 4 kids, this webiste is wrong.
Although Johnathan was only a member of the Colorado Crush for a short while, we were all glad to know him. Club Crush is the booster club of the Crush, and we were fortunate to be able to spend time with him at our Team/Club Picnic May 31.

15 years agoWe miss you more than any words could ever express... You are in our thoughts each and every day. We talk about your likes and dislikes and each your favorite foods. Baylee did great at her cheer competition and Johnathan Jr is still waiting on you to call him from Heaven:( Zoe and Zach are growing so fast. They point to the sky and say Da Da... When your precious heart stopped beating, we lost a wonderful Daddy, but gained an angel. I hear your laugh and see your beautiful smile each time I close my eyes. I\'ll love you more today than yesterday, but not as much as tomorrow. Forever I promise!! I love you, Ally

15 years agoDear Allyson, Think back to Paxson Middle school.....remember me? I sure have been wanting to run into some where but it just hasn't happened. Johnathan and I were good friends at Ed White and I was so sorry to hear of your tragic loss. I loss my little brother in March(3months earlier) due to a motorcycle accident, so the pain is familiar. Christmas is coming up and it will be hard, but knowing they both are with our Savior brings much peace. I hope your doing well and would absolutley love it if us running in to each other did happened. I'm praying for you. Love, Jessi Arpen (Gordon) PS-I wish this thing had your phone number on it
