Uncle John moved to Australia over 60 years ago. John and my father Kevin Moran (dcd) were reunited once in all that time, much to my fathers delight. John stayed with my mum and dad in Leeds the timing was good as my father passed away shortly after this visit. I was living in Ireland at the time but travelled over to meet John and I am pleased I did. I still have and use the address book he bought me, Lorna his wife sent me over an Australian tea towel and several hand knitted or crotched cant remember which, bed socks, these came in very handy during the very cold winter nights in Dublin.
