My first memory was Nursery School when I came home and told my mother that "Johnny Beeton bashed me up" We often laughed about that in fact I mentioned it to John when I called him in hospital. Our families were intertwined and I treasure the memories of knowing not only John but Florence, Bob, Eric, Bruce then Mahdi, Anneka, Jessie and James. John never forgot my Mum and always brought her a bottle of her special brandy every Christmas, she thought of him as her other son. John could talk to my Mum, I could talk to his Mum and we both knew there was no judgement. Thus John and I could talk to each other, he was truely my other brother. God bless you Johnny Beeton and God bless the wonderful family, the loves of your life, that gather to remember you. Love to you Mahdi, Anneka, Jessie and James
