THIS IS A SPECIAL MEMORY OF JOAN HAGGETT
In 1965 our Son Peter suffered a severe cut to his leg requiring 27 stitches.
When I arrived home at midday the first I noticed was a large amount of blood
everwhere.
Joan was kneeling at the bath attending to Peter's leg, we managed to put him
into the car for transport to the doctor.
On arriving home not a sign of blood could be found.
Joan had returned home after cleaning the total mess from sight.
An absolute Wonderful neighbour was our Joan.
Joan & Noel's family of Geoffrey,Pam & Garry together with ourselves & Peter Lesley & Alan have many fond memories of great picnics together.
Some Sunday afternoons while our children played together Noel, Joan Barbara & myself played shutlecock in the backyard a realy good time & a lot of laughs & fun.
Our friendship has spanned almost 60 Years Joan was an exceptional neighbour always there in a crisis a real friend.
Joan was a Real Lady & will be sorely missed by Barbara & Myself. & Peter Lesley & Alan.
Joan will always be remembered as a Grand friend & Lady.
Barbara & Ken Martin
