I remember being a teenager when Angel Eyes came out...and I remember thinking what a beautiful song, then I found out who Jeff Healy really was, and was absolutely blown away by his talent despite his disability. As I grew up and got into playing guitar, Jeff was always an inspiration to me, when I got fed up and didn't want to play anymore, I would think about Jeff, and find my inspiration again....if he could live his dream....even being blind, then so could I, no matter how tough it got...Thank you for many wonderful years of memories and music Jeff, you will be missed....my condolences to his family as well.

I remeber the first time I saw The Jeff Healey Band on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Like everyone else I was blown away by this 3 piece ensemble. But now, that day seems so long ago. Thank you Jeff for all those years of great music. It may be a cliche but it's true...You will be greatly missed. Thank You.

I had the great fortune to see Jeff Healey perform at Alfie's Pub (Queen's U.), in around 1988, playing in front of about 150 people. He had wit, warmth and, of course, killer technique on the guitar. A truly memorable evening celebrating the joy of music. So sorry to hear of his passing. He seemed like a genuine person of great spirit. He will be missed by many who never had the chance to know him personally.

I remember how much I loved the song "I think I love you too much" and also "How long can a man be strong". Loved and respected his craft especially in light of his disability. A true artist is gone and will be missed.

I had just met my partner, when he sat me down and played a song for me, telling me to listen carefully to the lyrics. That song was Angel Eyes, and had me in tears by the end of it. That was really my first introduction to Jeff Healey, but it certainly wasn't my last. Much love to his loved one's and friends. A sad, sad time indeed.

I remember thinking when "Get Me Some" came out that he was only getting better. I can't wait to hear his new cd, but I'm sure that it will be tearful to listen to.

On June 27,1989, I was asked out by my now husband Kelly. When we were talking on the phone "Angel Eyes" was playing and that became "our song". We danced to it at our wedding- August 20, 1994. It is still our song and always will be. What a sad loss!

Jeffrey, your amazing, your in a class all your own, you will never be replicated, your in a class all your own, a class all your own, your own, your fan. P.S. For those who chose to take this thing we call life for granted. Should your shining beam of light touch them in a way that may set them on a path of relishing every living breath they take.

I had no idea that he would go so soon. I remember that in the summer my mother and me listened to his music in the backyard. He was really popular then in our circles. Peace to his family.
