The memories I have of Jan will always be of a smiling, happy and beautiful young woman who cared for everyone equally. I spent three months with Jan touring Europe, I was only nineteen at the time and Jan took me under her wing and I always felt so very safe having her with me on all our big adventures and there were many. Jan came to visit me in New Zealand back in 2005 with our other mutual friend Judith. We had a great time remembering old times together. I will always cherish these memories and feel privileged to by able to call Jan a friend. Good-bye dear friend until we meet again. Cushla U.S.A.
