My father was always aspired to live an adventourous life, from his early ambitions to get his pilots licence in the 50's, to taking his family to live in the wilds of central Malaya (as it was then known) to live in a small village in the early 60's, to then taking us all to live in Engaland and travelling through Europe, a far cry from our early life in Trundle NSW, to his sailing voyage adventure from Jakarta to Rotterdam and various saling boats and trips, to his ultralite aircraft flying episodes with son James, and in later life parachuting to celebrate his 75th birthday, to buying and flying his own plane at the age of 82. A remarkableand well lived life!
