Jim and Clarrie were not only neighbours they were also mates. For me (Clarrie's adopted daughter) Mr Stewart turned from a scary man to a friend, Jim. He was scary to a little girl because of his height and booming voice, and his laugh, I loved that laugh. Then that girl became a woman saw him a friend. Not everyone opens their house for a wedding reception. He will be remembered fondly and always. Adrian, Brad and Leanne we had great parents didn't we? Much Love Annemarie.

A memory of a friendly phone call out of the blue, from a true gentleman who turned out to be my grandmother's second cousin, Jim Stewart Jnr, seeking family history information and who generously opened his home for a Dunn/Stewart family reunion.
