by coincidence I find the name and address of my niece Huguette who I met only once in Antwerp (Belgium) when I was a child. Her mother Germaine was my aunt. I don't know why we never met afterwards but family members drifted somewhat apart. This, to my regret. Her name so nice, however, stayed with me as well as with other family members. I would have liked visiting her in Australia. It is good to hear that she died peacefully.

Hugette was a well travelled and colourful character. She was a very special Madame. She would love to try and teach me french in the mornings when i would get her up for breakfast (she was always the last to get up). I made the mistake of asking her to translate "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi" she replied with a grin saying oh u know what that means, I didnt know what it meant at the time but she translated it for me and when she did I laughed and said no it wasnt an offer . I will certainly remember her as my neice was born last year on her birthday. I will miss my french teacher.
