It is truly amazing how much someone you never meet in person can change things so much. I can remember when I first found out about hide. I refused to listen to him, or look at him because I didn't want to like someone who was dead, (stupid I know). But then because of circumstance listening to one song turned into all of his songs, and then every video. Now there is not a day that goes by where he is not mentioned in my house. He is truly someone very special. I look to hide as a guardian angel of sorts now. No matter now horrible I feel his smile, music, just him make me feel better. I wish he could still be with us all. I wish he could still make music to inspire and heal us. But in all honesty, hide is still alive. He lives on, and never will be gone. He lives in not only my heart, but in the hearts of all of his fans. I cannot imagine him not being in my heart anymore. He's a part of me now. And that makes the world a better place, R.I.P. Hideto "hide" Matsumoto. I will forever miss you, and love you eternally. You are always in my thoughts and heart. I love you, rest well pink spider.

it was unbelievable at first i heard hide died. i feels like i can't accept for that. I'm not a huge big fans but i like hide a lot. his characteer brings happiness to all of his fans... his songs brings hope for me everyday. since i know his exist... i heard his songs everymorning when i gp to school... i heard a lot a lot... even now i still do when i go to work n the morning... it feels like some kind of motivation for me everyday to build me own... it was so great... but it is so unbelievable he left us just like that i had been dreams to meet him one day.. but seems like it will never happen anymore... he just left us his spirits and his memorials.... i wonder if someone can even share me more about hide... my biggest idol ever...my email :- dev_mech@hotmail.com if there is anyone... would like to share to me... i really hope that would be happen... thank you... arigatou...

hide changed my life! I still find that amazing - how can one whom you didn't know nor even saw for real change all of your thoughts?and now I answer to myself - it's the music! the sound, the lyrics, especially the meanings~ I always cry when listening to Flame I read a lot of his songs' lyrics carefully and now I do understand everything he was trying to say to us - LIVE FOR YOUR DREAM, REACH FOR IT AND NEVER EVER STOP TRYING, BECAUSE ONLY THE DREAMS KEEP US ALIVE, there is no yesterday...this is what Hideto-sama taught me I hope he taught you too! miss "Little Pink Riding Hood" had questions about hide's alcohol addiction ~ I have a few versions : *maybe hide wanted to forget his school days, because I believe it was really hard for him back then.... *maybe somebody broke his heart and it was very painful to live with that p.s. some of his lyrics even tell such stories. *maybe hide was tired of facing walls all over again in his path of life, alcohol is some kind of relief, please agree *maybe hide wanted different life than one he had back then? *maybe he simply found it exciting being drunk all the time (?!) and so on...he really might of had one of these reasons to lush alcohol like water Anyways, many generations forth are to find hide all over again, and he'll teach them how to live through his lyrics, his music, his personality.... God, I'm missing him so much

I have always looked up to you hide. You are the most creative beautiful soul i have ever known, and i know you will always be in everyone's hearts. You have the power to reduce me to tears with a single mention. You left this world when i was 4 years old. Finding a space where you once were broke my heart. I may still be quite young, but that gives me the opportunity to pass on your memory to my family. Never forgotten. Our amazing pink spider; angel, hero, inspiration, love. i really would like to say thank you to the owner of this blog...cause with this blog we all can share everything about hide...and it feels so good to express our feelings for hide when evryone here understands each other feelings towards hide...so thank you... hide is everything back then...he's cool, a new revolution, he's all about fashion and style, he's gorgeous and cute...he's caring and his smiles...my goodness...makes the world wanna smile with him too... I really wanna know what is written in his heart back then...why is this cheerful and funny guy would drink so much alcohol?Is there a problem?is it stress?what burdens him?or is it just a bad habit of him?How i wish i could enter and swim into his heart and read everything... Uopn those lovely eyes...who knows...what he really feels? who is the real hide? do you know him well? i once heard the more you mourn for someone's already gone the more hurt he is where he's at right now...so i guess all we need to do is just pray for him and ...appreciate and be grateful with his musics that he left us...THOSE musics are his gifts to us... I remember being told that you wont be around anymore... I was so little and all I could think was "Why?.. Where'd you go? What am I suppose to do now... who am I suppose to look up to now... how am I gonna be able to be different alone" but I came to understand that as long as I could hear your music in my head, even just a beat I'll never be alone. I know I'm young (just turned 13 last monday)....But hide, I really do love you. When I watch your lives.....I cry (heck I cry at anything having to do with you :'()because I wish (for the 1980's ones with X to the early solos up to 1994) I was alive to see you and listen to your music. When you died...I was nearly a baby. I'm sorry that I couldnt be around to buy your stuff and go to your shows. I just hope you are taking care of yourself up there......

I showed some of his vodieos to my kids. and my daugther"Mom, who is he?", I said "He was most talented guitarist but we lost him, but the memories cannot be erased". Love you and miss you.

I do believe hide was the most talented guitarist and solo artist of his time. While the reasons for his suicide aren't certain, I hope he can rest in peace. Pink Spider, RIP.
