A special thank you to everyone who joined my Mom, my sister Hilary, Jerry's wife Cora and myself for the memorial mass last night. What a great job Father Kelly did and Hilary's words were so poignant (and funny) there wasn't a dry eye in the church. xox Laura Lou

Back in the late 50's Jerry would come out to the farm in Brinkerton and stay for a while. He was always doing something that involved some risk such as climbing up into the rafters of the barn to try and catch a piegon, going down into the creek and lifting rocks up to catch a snake. He lifted one up and that snake nailed him right in his hand. Good thing is was not poisonous. We were near the pig pen and Jerry climbed the fence and then jumped on the biggest hog and it was rodeo time. God better keep a eye on him.... he will probably try to do something up there that he is not supposed to do... 8-)
I was learning to ride my bicycle when some how I ran into barbed wire fence and my leg was stuck on one of the barbs . Jerry came running over and removed my leg from the fence. Mum took me to the doctors and I got two stitches....... Then I was always with him in the creek catching something or another.....I guess that's way I am not afraid of snakes..... Thanks Jerry
As a kid I had very long hair. Got it caught in the Electrolux. Jerry took apart the powerhead, & unwound my hair. Took hours. xox RIP UJ!
