Thanks George for all the great times we had at Boali lodge in Thredbo with you and Robyn and Jamie. Especially the wonderful 2008 Christmas lunch. When I first met George he was a talented and tough rugby league player with Sydney University in the 1960s; he went on to play the professional game at a high level with Lakes United and carved out a very successful career in pharmacy in the Newcastle district. I will miss him at Boali, and I'm sure eveyone who knew George will miss this cheeky, gregarious and likeable character.
