I had the pleasure of being Geoff's secretary for two years when he was the Academic Registrar he was a delight to work for and generous to both staff and students with his time and advice. He will be remembered for the pipe smoking out the front of Building 9. I never heard him play the saxaphone but there were many people who had and said he was quite remarkable. To his family I offer you my sympathy and condolences, he is in God's hands know that his opinions will be heard by God. Rest in peace
