In 1970 when your were Chaplain at RMIT I knew you were an extraordinary man. I learnt so much from you, but didn't act early enough on what you taught me. The RMIT days were such fun, especially working with you was fun. Even though you visited me and my family over the years I wish I'd made more of an effort to locate you over the past 15 years. You gave so much to so many people of all beliefs - far more than you may have known.
With much love from your old friend Pam

We haven't been parishioners for long, but immensely impressed by your friendliness and decency. We are certain that the Lord will reward you for your untiring service to your flock. You will be sadly missed at St, Schols.

I would like to thank Father Brian for being a wonderful parish priest and making time, even when it was difficult, to tend to parishoners' needs. He was personally a wonderful friend and mentor to me and I will offer my prayers for him to be in the joyous company of all saints in God's beautiful kingdom. May God bless you abundantly Father Brian, from John Fernando and his recently deceased mum, Sybil Fernando.
