Despite her own problems, Liz made a point of joining the throng in Martin Place on February 13, 2008 to hear the Apology to the Stolen Generation. Her delight at the event and the promise of change it foreshadowed (but sadly not delivered) was palpable. Her generosity to and involvement in several areas of social justice will be much missed.
