One of the last times I saw eli, Brandon and I tagged his car...trying to be inconspicuous and not let him see us. Most people might of been mad in some way and he just laughed at us when he came outside.. A few nights later/the last time that i saw him...everyone at the slab had just gotten off of work and he and nikki were jokin around...he was laughing so hard and I remember thinking what a great guy he was. I wasn't one of Eli's really close friends but I was lucky enough to say that I knew him and we were friends.

I remember Eli the most from middle school. In 7th grade I had every class with him. He always wrote something funny in my yearbook. One year it said "I may look retarded, but i'm not." He was so goofy and knew how to make everyone laugh, and was never in a bad mood. Almost every single day after 6th hour I would be stopped next to him at the red light on his way home. He will definitely be missed.

So..he wasn't my best friend, but a friend I'd say. His hugs were incredible because he always used two arms. I loved that. He surely was one of the most kind hearted people I'd ever known and if anything,I'd love to tell him that. He had the best shoe too. you'll be missed, man. ALOT

A very awesome kid. We weren't very close, but the time that I spent with him was awesome. Eli had this awesome shirt, you couldn't understand what it said but when he folded it, it said fuck off. Loved that shirt Eli. Can't wait to see you up there buddy.

I never got to be very close to Eli, but he was a great friend of my brother and his friends. I remember going with my brother to Eli's house one day after school, and the guys were shooting things at each other - I think it was an air soft gun. Everyone just seemed so happy, it's hard to understand how something like this could happen. Eli was loved by so many people and I know he will be greatly missed. Things won't be the same without him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I met Eli in 6th grade and throughout most of middle school we hung out a lot in gym. Always running on the stage when Mr. Ard was not looking. And then this year, we have 5th hour together. He was always a happy guy playing with a tech deck. He was never mean to anyone and he was just a well loved person. 5th hour is not going to be the same without seeing him there. He was a great person and he will be missed. Rest in peace Eli.

My heart aches for the Renfranz family. May God comfort all of you at this time and everyday hereafter. Eli was the most respectful, well mannered, & most of all honest young man I have met. As a parent, he was the kind of friend you would hope for that your child would have and choose to hang out with. He will be missed & remembered forever.

Eli was one of the funniest guys i've ever met. People who never even talked would bust out laughing when he cracked a joke. He made my 11th grade math class the best period. He brightened up everyone's day and he'll be missed by all. R.I.P. buddy.

EliH was the coolest guy i have ever known he would always come outside at night and play manhunt with all of the kids !! He wouls always let the kids in the naborhood shoot his bb guns !! I had always enjoyed him and even when i went to the marble slab he would always give me a little bit extra ice cream Allthough it didnt have to end this way and nobody knows what made him so dissapointed. But we all know now that he is in a better place and that everybody will get to see him back up there in heaven he will probley still be scate boarding up there !! : ) But no matter what he will ALWAYS be missed and everybody will still love him

We went on a few church trips together, and always had a way to make you smile or laugh when you were down. He taught me how to stand on a skateboard and roll down a tiny ramp, I could never forget something as simple as that. He is going to be missed so much that it is truly unbelievable. Thank you so much Eli, for all you've done and more.

Eli there are so many things I will always remember about you. I remember when we first started working closing shifts together and I was always so shy around you and I used to think you thought I was weird. But you were always the crazy one, huh? Remember all those times you thought you were going to get fired? I remember that time you came into work in your regular clothes and I was like,"Eli, are you wearing pajamas?!" Or when I couldnt get over your crazy shirts and was so determined that you were a hippie. Im going to miss you so freakin much.. you were seriously my favorite part about coming to work and I used to work other peoples day so I could close with you.. just because you were so much fun. I hope you're at that skatepark by the beach listening to Jimi Hendrix up there in heaven.

Well me && Eli had a class together when I was a Senior ... I always stole his notes ... he always made me some mean ice cream when I came in b/c I am very picky about it ... lol ... but one memory that stands out is when I wanted to get a tattoo && I didnt know what to get. Eli suggested that I get a tattoo of what his shit said (something in latin) anyways ... (long story short) it was a funny shirt && I will always remember what my first tattoo should have been!

Our sophomore year, we had English class together and we both barely made it through the year with D's. At the end of the year, he wrote in my yearbook, that he was glad he got to know me and that we had an awesome year together barely surviving english. =]]. I also remember walking him to his car one afternoon when he was on crutches. He was super awesome about it and gave me the greatest hug ever. He was such an awesome guy, the kind of guy that doesnt come around too often in towns like Okeechobee. He was an enemy to absolutely no one and always had a smile on his face. He will definitely be missed. Its not gonna be the same walking through the halls and not seeing Eli.

I didn't know Eli that well but what i do remember of him was how much he loved to skateboard. I remember when back in middle school or our freshman year when he got in the golf cart accident and how everybody would always call him "STIFFNECK". ELI YOU WILL BE MISSED BY MANY.
