I've got so many good memories of Nana, but maybe the one that sticks in my mind the most is when I was about eight years old and Nana came out to me in the backyard of their old place in Roselands and pulled out this beautiful cuddly teddy bear from behind her back. She told me she had bought it for me as a Christmas present but she just couldn't wait till Christmas to give it to me. His name is Bixby Bear and I've still got him. Nana was like that, she loved to see children smile. She was the most loving person I've known for my whole life and I'll miss her for the rest of my life.

As a young teenager and schoolfriend of June, Mrs Brown left me in awe of her ability to put beautiful creases in June's cardigan sleeves. This may seem like a small thing but this fact has always been a lasting memory of Mrs Brown.
She endured many hours of two teenagers crashing and bashing their way through endless typing sessions...we were determined to be the best.

Aunty Bub and Uncle Bill were always part of our family whilst I was growing up at Burrill Lake..... Lots of fishing, prawning and walks on the beach during summer...... Me riding my bike down the road for afternoon tea on the verandah and Sally, my dog running beside me....
Those were the days... You are now at peace Aunty Bub...
Love always Maree, Gavin, Jennifer and Bradley Bartell
