Many memories of Edgar, the most significant must be The great wins he had against the draconian Nazis at the Young PP Board & latter the Young Rural Lands Board. The blithering idiots Moony, Hayes & Brown persisted in persecuting poor Edgar over many many years. Edgar made them look even more ridiculous than they were already known to be. Edgar defeated them on every occasion they wrongly dragged him to court. These three payed employees of all graziers in the Young district cost all graziers in the district many many thousands of dollars in failed court cases against Edgar (& other graziers), & still didn't get the sack. It is a tragedy of justice that they were able to conduct a personal vendetta against Edgar, who was always innocent of the trumped up charges these Epsilon Semi-Morons put against him. I will remember the passion he exuded against these PP & RL Boards, always wanting their complete abolition. Edgar was visionary whose idea has partly come to fruition as the boards are gone, replaced by a huge floundering bureaucracy, which will be abolished by the new state government, bringing us into line with every state in Australia & throughout the cattle grazing world. Edgar always said they were an anachronism left over from the 19th centaury. He was so right! Long live the memories of Edgar Booth!
