Doug was a great and loyal friend to many mates from the various stages of his RAAF career, including George Crompton (from Ballarat training days, S.A.A.F. service and Rhodesian pilot training) and Stan Watt (450 Squadron). He was a strong supporter of 450 Squadron Association, and also a member of the RAAF/Rhodesia Association. Remembered with respect by our members. Martin Jackson
